What kind of VPN connection on Azure?

I have just got Azure subscription and looking to deploy VPN on it that my travel router can connect to.

Please help what kind of VPN connection that would be? Point to Site VPN?

Is there a step by step guide I can follow? Or a YouTube video?

I"ll need to do 2 things

  1. Set up VPN server on Azure
  2. Configure GL INET router to connect to Azure

This way when I connect my travel router to my laptop it"ll get only my work city’s IP and hence my work laptop (teams, outlook etc. will show same time zone as other coworkers)

I travel a lot and want my work laptop to be connected to work city IP.

My manager agrees with it but has asked me to make it secure and functional/reliable in order for me to work from abroad a few months a year.

P.S
I’ll disable wifi, GPS, location Services etc.

I find it very very odd your manager supports this but it isn’t up to your IT department to set up…

Its a work device, of your company is allowing it then have them set something up.

It’s a long story but my manager wants me do it as I’m the only one who wants to work from abroad (time to time) and they cannot support this only for myself.
