VPN issues in Turkey

I live in Turkey for 3 months a year and last year I purchased a NrdVPN subscription. I was using the internet as if I were in the United States by connecting to American servers from Turkey.

Everything was working fine until one day it suddenly stopped connecting, and I haven’t been able to connect since then. NrdVPN hasn’t been able to help me with this issue. I want to get a new subscription and wanted to consult with you. Could you please help me? Which VPN works without issues for connecting from Turkey to the United States? I believe the issue stems from country blocking VPN usage in Turkey.

I’m looking forward to your response.

ISPs in Turkey impose strict DNS lookup rules and restrictions for outer bounds. Some common VPN servers are also blacklisted. Try to change your DNS, set WireGuard for your VPN.

Use goodbyedpi app it removes all the bans, for privacy you can use any vpn with it.

ExpressVPN works for me.

most of them are blocked. i switched to setting up an openvpn on vultr. best decision but i’m not sure if it’s cost effective.

Some vpns are blocked in turkey. I use surfshark. It is also kinda blocked, but you can get it working with some patience.

You can use opera for Internet Browser it has own VPN

Do you have Turkcell? They block VPNs. So, you only use their VPN services.

I don’t know if it’s still the case, but last year you could make “blocked” VPNs, including “Nrd”, work if you used goodbyedpi to access login (you can turn it off after the login). It’s an extremely simple and free solution. Depending on the ISP in question you might also need to set a specific connection protocol. This should work as long as you keep your login on; if you restart your device for example and have to connect again, repeat the initial step.

Hi, I use AdGuard vpn for a couple of years here

Hi, how go you get that working?
