So this is the first time I’ve tried to use a vpn through a router. I followed instructions and added the vpn to my router. But I use stremio to torrent movies and shows on my chromecast. So I’m wondering if the vpn on my router will help with the torrent use on my chromecast or if I’m thinking about this wrong
Anything going through the internet on that router will go through vpn
You still have the option to run under your ISP. Go to VPN Fusion in your settings and make sure that the Chromecast IP is under the VPN umbrella.
