I used a VPN to get Netflix prices from India. I used a wells Fargo card and that got me by for a few months, but that doesn’t work anymore. How can I pay if none of my credit cards work?
I had a sports ap that worked for years with India VPN. I was able to use US card but policy changed and required India CC, which is not possible to get outside of India and even in India is sometimes not easy.
I am in Cambodia. Tried using my US credit card to subscribe at Cambodia rates, but failed. I then used my Cambodian debit card successfully. Linked to the payment bank location.
It’s not really about VPN hiding your location anymore.
A lot of these online places now use a system which checks the country the card or bank account was issued in.
What you will need to do is purchase vouchers for the country you want these will come at a cost.
It’s a ridiculous system which is all about greed (I have lived in multi countries over my life for work but unable to get bank accounts in those countries because some require you to be a citizen so even when I lived in Asia I had to use UK bank account)
