Sorry but... is CISCO stupid? I can't download the anyconnect client anywhere

To work with a client I need cisco anyconnect. When go to their website it’s requiring me to login before downloading? What? Why do I need to login for the VPN client? How can I use it then?

EDIT: Creating an account does NOT fix the problem. It requires a contract? Open VPN is easy, I get openVPN, import what the client provides. DONE. Why is Cisco being this stupid for the VPN Client anyconnect? I don’t understand the padded resistance.

EDIT: Was 18 hrs awake ytd. Today I decided to go to https://vpnlink and login and just do the clonky steps step by step. it installed in one go. what the hell

Go to the https site of the client’s VPN. In example https://vpn.company.com and you should be able to download after entering your credentials the client gave you.

Just go to the client’s Anyconnect portal with a web browser, you can download it there. Or if they have that turned off, perhaps try asking them for it?
