as title says, qBittorrent shows my real world IP address alongside with my VPN address as active peers with incoming connection to me when torrenting.
I’ve recently purchased PIA to shield my IP, I’m using a freshly installed win10, everything stock and updated, no changes done. installed PIA with default settings/setup and just let it do it’s thing and PIA is already running and active with a VPN I launch qBittorrent.
Why do I see myself as a active peer with incoming connection?
is there something wrong on my end? what can I do to fix this?
I have been downloading these torrents using my real world IP from before but it is now many days since I switched to VPN. is this old “history” that somehow is retained in the torrent network and sent back to me?
