About a year ago, I downloaded Proton VPN and it was working quite well however about 2-3 months ago it stopped working. I didn’t care about it as I didn’t need vpn that often but now I need one so here I am.
The issue is that when I open up the app and enter my login details, it vanishes. According to task manager it is still open in the background. Waited for a while just in case (for about 3 hours while I’m doing other things) and well it never appeared.
I cannot open a ticket in support either because the proton website is also broken for me… Whenever I try to enter, it makes me wait for a good 10-30 minutes. After it opens up, clicking anything literally does nothing so I have to right click and “open up in a new tab” which makes me wait another 10-30 minutes to open up. Sometimes it never opens up…
Does anyone know why this might be the case? I don’t think Proton VPN or any other Proton service is banned where I live because it does not block me or say “unable to access”. It just tries to load the page for 10+ minutes, sometimes forever.
