I would like to set up a personal VPN connection to/through my personal server to get around a firewall. I would not like to run all traffic though the VPN, only that which is restricted. I have not yet set the VPN server up, but assuming I do so, is there a Chrome extension that can use my personal VPN when I access certain sites and will use a normal connection when I access all other sites?
I know there are many paid VPN services that offer such functionality in their extensions but I specifically want to use my own server. The goal is not privacy or security, but firewall/proxy avoidance. Using a paid VPN service would only make things more difficult as many sites block VPN connections.
