So about two times before this I had been having problems with my computer download speeds going from gigabit speeds to just 60 down. And I had come to the conclusion that a program was doing this so I reinstalled Windows and ran Speedtest before and after all programs I installed. And to my luck before I installed Hamachi I had 900 down and then after I had 60 down. The same speeds I was getting with my previous two installs of windows. I uninstalled it however it’s still stuck at 60. Anybody know a fix for this?
Hamachi is a VPN service, so when it is enabled, it’s almost certainly re-routing your internet traffic through LogMeIn’s servers. This makes it significantly slower, as it now has an extra person to go through. When you don’t need hamachi, disable it, and you should get your ordinary speeds back.

I had this issue. This brought my speed from 53 mbps to 895 mbps.
Right but the thing is that it’s uninstalled from my PC and the speeds are still slow thats the part thats confusing me

Sorry to necropost, but i just discovered the thread that you linked, and I used that fix. It blows my mind that hamachi would ever do that. Its almost like a virus.
