Im not sure where ive heard this but i think someone said that the free trial for windscribe vpn is like the only safe free vpn you can use for downloading torrents, is that true?
Windscribe is one of the more/most trusted VPNs so I’d say yeah. I have some bias as I am a pro subscriber for them, but I did torrent on the free plan without any issues.
Just pay the $5 USD a month for Mulvad.
