Netflix in the US picks up on the VPN so doesn’t work. Hasn’t for a long time. That said Netflix US has plenty of french shows as well as french track for a lot of non french shows.

Personally I use TF1 and France 2 (and its partner channels) a lot. I just cast onto my TV. TF1 is my go to for the most part. M6 doesn’t seem to be working with a VPN.
