The Chromebooks at the school I go to block damn near everything. I want to try and get a VPN going on my Chromebook, but I just can’t seem to get it to work. I’m not sure if you can install a vpn? But you could def change the search engine to duckduckgo and use a proxy!

Some chromebooks have access to the Google play store you can get VPNs from there

if the school uses an extension to block stuff you can just disable the extension, using bookmarklets. Video

Well, maybe I could of phrased that a bit better. Things with tags, or whatever the term for it is, like porn, mature, games, the play store, extension store, those are blocked. In any case, I feel like there’s a way. …or maybe it is the end of the story. Thank you, Stranger.

What I meant is, DuckDuckGo is a search engine, just like google. You can look things up but unlike google, it won’t track you.
This is one of the reasons why schools love using Chromebooks so much – they’re so easy to lock down and to configure.
