Hi received this random email, I've never even heard of keepsolid before. I didn't click any links, but I'm wondering if keepsolid is a legit company and if I should attempt to log into the account on their site? Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi received this random email, I’ve never even heard of keepsolid before. I didn’t click any links, but I’m wondering if keepsolid is a legit company and if I should attempt to log into the account on their site? Has this happened to anyone else?

Never click a link in an email you weren’t expecting to receive.

It’s a legit company, I’ve had their VPN for a long time now.

But as others have said, don’t click on any link.

Additionally I just wanna clarify that i didn’t sign up for this, which is why I’m confused about the email to begin with.

its the worst fake company. I had purchased in past and it is worst

I’ve had 9+ emails in the past few days of someone tryina reset the password to keepsolid. I was wondering if someone else had this issue apart from me

If you didn’t sign up for it, it’s a phishing scam. If you click on any link, it will probably take you to a site that will ask for your payment information so that you can get a “refund”. What will actually happen is that your credit card information will be available to scammers.

Or even worse, when you try to install the app through the link in the email, your device will be infected with malware and held ransom.

I do, never signed up for it.

Thank you! I’ll just delete it then

Probably signed up for supervpn at sometime?

you dont have to delete. go to https://id.keepsolid.com/login then try to sign in. Maybe you do have it. If you buy anythign from stacksocial lately it may have came with it as a bundle

What, you don’t wanna help out a poor scammer? They have feelings too, ya know…

That definitely sounds like the best advice in this thread.
