Help making Qobuz account in unsupported country

I tried using ProtonVPN but it still flags me for using a VPN every time I try to register on the website. How do I get around this? Are there any proton servers that work?

I set VPN to USA and used a US credit card and paid my friend back.

I have created my US and UK Qobuz accounts recently using NordVPN with Double VPN feature. The only problem I’m facing is those countries based payment methods. Qobuz is very strict to allow non-supported countries payment methods.

I was in the same situation as you a few months ago. Unfortunately Qobuz can detect VPNs, so you can’t use one to bypass their restrictions.

The only way to sign up is to get someone in a supported country to sign up for you, which includes making the first payment, and then they give you the login details for you to switch to your own payment method.

I am fortunate that one of my best friends lives in Portugal, and I trust him with my credit card details, so he did the complete sign up for me and now I have a Qobuz account.

It’s not possible. In my case, I am from Mexico and I have family in Colombia and I was able to make a cheaper account. You do not need to enter credit card details at the beginning.:camera:

I was just about to make a similar post. I once managed to make a German account through a VPN but now I’m having difficulty creating one in Australia/New Zealand.

They never detected my VPN. :man_shrugging:

BTW - Norton also worked but I did not like it overall.
