Google One VPN Win11 Not Connecting

Anyone experience this issue? It just sits on “Connecting” and appears to drop my internet connection altogether and never connects. It works on my mac and also my android phone but not my Win11 device. Any ideas?

You get support from the Google 1 app with the vpn subscription. Maybe try that.

Stumbled into this thread as I faced a similar problem. In my case, quitting the vpn app and reloading it did the trick. Hope it works for others.

This is how I solved it: 1. Open the application Google one VPN in Windows. 2. Click on ‘view settings’ located at the bottom centre of the screen. 3. In the ‘VPN settings’ section, select the ‘log out’ option on the left to log out. This is different from ‘log out of VPN’. 4. A screen will appear with the message ‘start using the Google One VPN’. Click on the ‘start’ button and follow the process to login again. Issue solved! I think this may work in Windows 10 too.

Makes all my opponents including myself d/c during ranked Dota 2 match with all of us receiving a NULL game (more of a tie than a tie)

I don’t know what to tell you

u/klrmac Hi. Hey, did you ever find a solution? Same thing going on here…

Same here. Windows 11 machine, nothing fancy and a broadband internet connection. Works on the phone fine.

It’s just Microsoft sabotaging everything Google does.

I was so excited when you posted this because for a moment it worked. Then all it did was escalate to a Blue Screen of Death for me now. Anyone else getting the VPN to connect then crashing the entire thing rendered by: invalid_mdl_range?

Umm thanks for the help?

nope gave up on it since I never received a response from the community.

it was working for weeks, now it’s not working

worked for me the first 1-2 days, but I’ve got the same problem now. Anyone got an update for this issue?

Tbh you’re probably right

Sorry to hear this. I should have mentioned that I’m on a mac

Same issue, worked up until yesterday, now it will not connect. I tried to use support but the assistance was completely unhelpful, took them about 20 min and 20 questions to ask me if i’m ready to start being helped…

Hahaha! You’re fine! It’s definitely got to be something on G1’s Windows update! I’ve been looking all over the net and everyone seems to be having issues. I’m just glad I tried it to see, not the outcome we wanted but we can scratch this off the list! All I had to do was disconnect from the internet and it let me boot in without the crash, I had automatic start-up and was stuck in a BSoD for a minute, so if anyone else tries, just turn off the internet and it will boot up as good as new! Let’s hope G1 finds the program that’s causing the issue, but it definitely has to be something in the program, and hopefully the info I was able to send will help them find the problem.

same issue here. works on my phone though…

Yea I was annoyed by customer support. I just ditched them.
