GlobalProtect VPN not working on Sequoia

VPN get connected but no internet connection after that.

How can a company like them, not able to keep up with system updates… that is crazy

It turns out the new MacOS update hasn’t been supported by GP yet according to: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/globalprotect-discussions/unable-to-launch-global-protect-on-osx-15-sequoia/td-p/595174

I hope they quickly update the app to be support on Sequoia. I’ll update this post if I see an update. Thanks.

I can confirm that Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect version 6.3.1 is working on MacOS Sequoia in combination with PAN-OS 11.1.04-h3 on NGFW in my LAB environment.

  • connected
  • IPv4 Client-Pool
  • IPv6 Client-Pool
  • Internet access via ipv4/ipv6

I still do not see Sequoia in the list of supported MacOS version, but for me it is working.

We’re currently running GP 6.0.7. I haven’t tried a fresh install, but it worked on a machine I updated to Sequoia, except for one issue I noticed… the client is supposed to recognize when a machine is on the internal network and not connect to the VPN. If I switch to an external IP I can connect to the VPN without issue, but if I switch back to the internal network the client remains connected rather than recognizing it’s connected internally. Not a major issue, but definitely an issue.

is this still not working ?? as per the Gp official doc they say only 6.2.x works in 15 https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/compatibility-matrix/reference/globalprotect/where-can-i-install-the-globalprotect-app should I upgrade to Sequoia or stay in Sonoma 14.7 ??

I am also waiting for this update. It is the only issue that makes me can’t upgrade to macOS Sequoia at this moment. I am planning to install GP into my steam deck

from doc they say only post 6.2.6 and later are gonna work I am still on sonoma
