DNS leak on work laptop?

Hi all!
I built a home VPN server using pivpn with Cloudflare as the DNS service. I use a Beryl AX router as the VPN client. IP and DNS tests are solid on other devices, but when I run dnsleaktest.com on the work laptop, I notice that instead of Cloudflare, the ISP is Microsoft Azure. IP doesn’t seem to leak. I’m guessing that the work computer might have software installed to internally resolve DNS requests, given that our company also runs on Azure.
My main goal for using a VPN is to not have my location leaked. Am I safe from being located in this case?

To fix this problem on the client device you take with you >> navigate to VPN dashboard >> name of your server >> global options >> block non VPN traffic.

Is this yet another one of those “my employer said I have to work here but I want to work there” posts?

Just don’t, it’s a bad idea. Get a job that supports you working wherever you want to work from.

It’s quite easy for an employer to enforce DNS rules on their own hardware. Usually devices just use whatever router they are connected to to resolve DNS but it’s trivial to set a device to use whatever DNS you want.
