Yeah I have this issue . Uninstalled and reinstalled discord and still does it 
Started having this issue over the past few days, maybe a week(?), no idea why, only change I can chalk it up to is both Discord and nVidia had an update recently
I found a solution! Go to your task manager and set the priority of discord to normal or above average. Looks like when discord is behind some tabs or minimized, it drops its priority and loses connection.
It’s been going on for a while. Both me and my friends keep getting random disconnects.
Something similar happens to me, I don’t know if its the same thing, but basically Discord will start disconnecting me if I’m idle from Discord too long? Like if I don’t interact with it or touch my keys / trackpad while in the app, it will disconnect me from calls. I also noticed that if I tab back to discord, it will log me back in or at the very least, the screen will flicker like it had to load a massive amount of changes. Like for example, I could tab back to discord and see there are no new messages in the chat channels, but then the window will blink and all of a sudden all the channels will be lit up. It never used to do this.
Okay everyone, which discord version are you using? I feel like after I switched to the 64-bit version (2 - 3 months ago), it started happening.

Buddy of mine has this issue. He’s tried turning off hardware accel, disabled QoS, reinstalled Discord, and eventually reinstalled Windows. It seems to work fine for a while after the OS reinstall, but started happening again. I’ve been in a server with him for around 3 hours, and he’s disconnected at least 5 times.

Same issue since early May, whether on Win 8.1, 10, or 11. When using the desktop Discord app, if I completely hide the Discord window behind other windows so that no part of it is visible, and then switch back to it after some time, I find that it has gone into a “disconnected and reconnecting” state. This happens whether or not I’m in a voice channel. If I am in a voice channel, it results in frequent disconnections and reconnections with join/leave sound appeared, or the disappearance of others’ voices, either it disconnects and reconnects as soon as I switch back to the Discord window, or it disconnects for several seconds while in the background before automatically reconnecting. This behavior is weird and didn’t happen before.
The temporary solutions I’ve found is ensuring that some part of the Discord window remains visible on the screen, or using an external monitor to keep some of it in view. Another strange method that works is showing part of the Discord window within the non-auto-hiding Windows taskbar area at external monitor (main monitor won’t work for unknown reason), for example, dragging the window so that part of its bottom edge is under the taskbar. This method works on systems with taskbar transparency effects turned on, though not sure if without transparency would work or not. (Tested this on Win 8.1 and Win 10 my side, though taskbar transparency in Win10 need to be manually enabled through regedit). Even if I’m using other apps or windows (except fullscreen), this prevents the “disconnected and reconnecting” issue and stops voice disconnections.
It seems like this might be a rendering issue? Like when the window doesn’t have anything to render or display, it stops functioning, which causes the disconnections, but still not sure the actual reason causes this.

I only started having this once I switch to 11
Started happening to me 2-3 days ago and my internet was fine since sometimes thats the issue but I restarted router/computer etc and nothing changed. Gonna turn off Hardware Acceleration in the settings and see if that does anything but I am glad I am not alone in this.

Yup, started for me on 8/3/24. It’s consistently disconnecting twice an hour, been using it every day for about 5hrs a day.
My fellow server members don’t notice it but I hear the disconnect/connect notification sound every time.
Started for me about a week ago, never had any problems with discord. Just did a 3hr raid with prob about 150 dc/reconnects. Occasionally get 5-6min of no dc, followed by quite a few happening about once a min. Lasts about a sec of being dc’d before it auto reconnects , also makes the leaving/entering vc sound. no one has said anything about me leaving and coming back constantly so pretty sure i’m the only one who hears it, thank god. My internet is great, tried everything on the internet I could find for a fix. May have started after most recent update, idk that’s the only thing I can think of that changed on my end. Hopefully gets resolved with the next update.
Has anyone this issue has occurred for had any fixes that have worked? Or did it just go away. I’ve tried running as admin, disabling the accelerator a fresh install of discord and it still happens. And strangely my pc and Xbox friends don’t hear the disconnection and reconnection only that I cut out but my PS friends hear it clear as daylight. Plz help
Happening to me now constantly. Never had issues before.
For me it was a problem of being connected by a cable and using wi-fi at the same time. Once I siwtched wi-fi off and started to use cable only disconnecting stopped.
