Hello. So I recently got cisco any connect, but for some reason, Im unable to connect to the wifi. In network, when I click pal 3.0 it asks for my login so I put the same credintials as I would normally connecting to the Internet, but it keeps saying autentocation failed. Does anyone have any fixes for this
Cisco Anyconnect is the VPN client; you should not need it for very much (Virtual LAbs is the biggest use case for students). it’s got nothing to do with accessing WiFi.
for most(*) students I would suggest visiting wifi.purdue.edu and using the Eduroam profile. put in your account as [email protected] and use your password (not boilerkey).
(*) There are some departments what require PAL 3.0, I do not know which ones.
Make sure you’re using BoilerKey to log into Cisco but your Career ID to log into the internet.
Uninstall Any connect and all the included extra modules . May need to do a Network Reset on your computer afterwards. Reinstall the client but make sure to only select the AnyConnect Mobility Client module. There’s something in one of the other modules that is breaking campus network connections.
Delete Cisco any connect not worth the trouble to try and make it work
I have had the same problem, no cisco anyconnect tho. Eduroam still works for me.
