Currently trying to help my wife watch “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” on our Fire TV. Just bought a Surfshark subscription, downloaded the app on Fire TV. Connected to the AU server with the lightest load. Then went to go look on the streaming services where the show is streaming on (Apple TV, Paramount+, and Prime Video) and nothing came up.
Is there a step I’m missing here? I thought it was easy as connecting and then searching for the show, but I feel like I’m missing a step since nothing seems to be showing up. Any guidance is greatly appreciated thank you

Not sure what you are trying to achieve. The Australian version of I’m a Celebrity is shown on channel 10 in Australia, so you would need the 10 Play app. If you want the show which is actually filmed in Australia, then that is the UK version of the show and is shown on ITV in the UK. For that you will need the ITVX app.
To get Firetv apps from another country can be a real pain. You could try setting up an Amazon account for UK under your VPN. This chap has a good channel, try youtube search for TechDoctorUK he has just uploaded a video called ‘Get best UK streaming apps on all devices’. Should be just what you are looking for.
i just connected to a UK VPN on surfshark on my fire tv. after that, i searched for the ITVX fire tv app, and it still says it’s unavailable
That’s because Amazon locks the region of Firestick TV based on where your Amazon account is based. The vpn cannot change the region of your Firestick tv’s appstore.

Try doing a Google search for ITVX app, you should be able to find it on another site other than Google play. e.g. apkmirror.
