Can I change my VPN location for my router?

I have a TP-Link AX3000 router. Through the router settings, I added a VPN server using my paid VPN by giving it a configuration file. I assume this configuration file picked the fastest server near me which is the closest one, so when I use a streaming app I get local TV.

Now my question is, to change the location so I get local TV from somewhere else, what are my options? Is there a way I can do this easily through an app or something or do I have to set up another VPN server using a new configuration file for each location and then just swap to it when I want to?

I guess another variation of this question is how to use my VPN through my fire TV?

You need a oVPN/WireGuard config file for each server that you wish to connect to, your VPN provider should have a list on their website.

You need to get a different server configuration file in the country or city you prefer and add it into the router. The only way to change between them is to add them manually in your router settings. I don’t think there is an app where you can switch between servers easily.

If your VPN provider has an app for FireTV then you can install it directly on it and it would be easier than connecting through a router.
