Does anyone have any experience with using a VPN save money when booking a package holiday from the UK? I’ve heard of people using it to get cheaper flights and we have two kids, so I was wondering if the website thinks you are in another country will it give us cheaper prices during the school holidays? Don’t get how it would work as I assume we need to say where we are from and where we are going.
Flight prices are based on where you are flying from and to, not where you’re booking from.
unfortunately I’ve been fighting this myself for days and it does not work. You may be able to get a travel agent in a different country though that can book it for you for cheaper
For cheaper flights you need to aim at middle of the night with incognito/private mode. With flights its down to school holidays because different countries have holidays in different dates etc. Also you may wanna explore non direct flights.
The app twistr does that for flights.
