Quick question, what’s the best VPN you guys use for performance on tivimate?
I’ve used ExpressVPN and NordVPN but looking for others as at times tivimate freezes still?

Regardless of the VPN you are using, if you get buffering with the VPN on, change your VPN server location. If it isn’t that, then possibly an issue with the provider and/or device.
I also have Mullvad. Can someone tell me what I have to enter in “UDP Proxy” to be able to use TiviMate via Mullvad? Thanks
I use proton vpn. Never buffers.
Just as a FYI, VPN performance and impact on apps is dependant on 2 things…
A. The device/hardware you are using and the resources it has
B. Your internet package.
Vpn’s can reduce your download speed by 50% or more.
I have tested Nord and Ip Vanished on a Firestick HD and 4K and our wifi speeds went from 200-400 mbps download down to 75-100 mbps download.
I did not see any streaming issues.
But your streaming experience whether you are using a VPN or not is primarily governed by A and B; assuming your provider is solid.
I have found that as long as there is 50 mbps download speed, preferable 75 mbps, there are no performance issues ie buffering.

I have tried multiple VPNs over the last few years including Pure, ExpressVPN, Cyberghost, SurfShark, and NordVPN. So far I like PIA VPN the best for streaming. Got a sweet 82% discount from some Youtube Guy. Loving it so far! 
Would the free tier work? Or only paid?
You forget the most important parameter of all of how th VPN performance impacts devices… PROTOCOL.
Wireguard > IKEv2 > OpenVPN.
Aren’t Mullvad and WireGuard 2 different apps? Which one is better?
It’s dependent on your location, your ISP and your hardware. What works best for one person might not work great for you (and you can be using the same ISP and live blocks away).
You simply need to try a few and find what works best for you.
