I want to get a VPN but ideally one that I can use on both Android and Laptop, but that i can sign up for via andriod as I want to pay the monthly subscription via Google Play Store. So far everything pointing towards Nord but just wanna get the internets opinion in case that’s all hype and no good.

Why do you want a VPN? Serious question.
Opera has a built-in VPN if you just want to access some web content that’s region blocked.
Quick tip. When doing any crypto trading or banking it may seem like a good idea to have VPN on, it seems reasonable/logical. It’s the fastest way to get your accounts locked, those connections are already encrypted and if you do you’ll be posting on /coinbase and /wellsfargo how much they suck and stealing your money.

General privacy, region proxy and downloads/torrents
For torrents you’re better off with a seedbox. Region proxy is a valid one (Opera’s is slow but works for me) but if you get a seedbox you often get one with them.
I don’t really think VPNs enhance your privacy though - you just trust your traffic to the VPN provider rather than your ISP.
