Hello, in the last couple of days, BBC iPlayer has stopped working for me (Using ProtoVPN Plus).
This is what I get in the Browser when I connect:
This site can’t be reached
www.bbc.co.uk unexpectedly closed the connection.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
Other sites work. Is anybody else having this problem? Thanks
I’m getting the same with Netflix, Disney+ and the main Amazon and BBC websites. Along with the YT Music app when connected to UK Plus servers and the BBC News app. In some cases, connecting to a basic server allows you to connect to the site or service but actually streaming can be hit and miss.
This started about a day or two ago, or at least that’s when I noticed the issue.
Which is really annoying as I’ve picked up a 2 year sub at the end of December and it’s just gone past the 30 day refund window. 
Same. They must’ve enabled vpn blocking recently. I’ve tried several UK servers.
Similar issues for me too connecting to UK servers. Ironically I pay the licence fee XD.
Same here! However, I use another VPN provider (KeepSolid). Yesterday it still worked but today neither the BBC nor ITV are accessible. The funny thing is that my cheap backup VPN (Ivacy.com) works, though some days it is a bit too slow and the video stream might stutter every now and then.
The reason that I have ended up here is because I wanted to see whether it is a wider issue. I would like to know if NordVPN users are currently facing the same problem.
Same thing here for Amazon and Netflix. Using the app it says I’ve got no internet connection. Started a few days ago.
Yeah also because iPlayer should be supported by ProtonVPN, so this is quite disappointing indeed:

The same issue is happening with streaming services using US servers (for example, all Miami and Atlanta servers are not working, get a “Network Error, check your internet connection” message). Please check this too!
KeepSolid have fixed the issue within 48h of receipt. And it’s back to working fine. Let’s see how long it will take ProtonVPN.
