Anyone knows about or have used Ivacy VPN for torrenting and stuff? They have a lifetime deal going on right now so I was thinking. Keepsolid also has a lifetime deal but they are not torrent friendly according to their Faqs.
Just FYI there are a lot of Reddit spam accounts for that particular VPN service. Don’t be surprised if you get any replies here from those Reddit accounts telling you how awesome the service is, etc.
e.g. /u/l21zxib8tr0f33v3 is a Ivacy affiliate (see their user history) so obvs they will say great things about the service.
Ivacy was my first VPN provider.
They’re decent overall. They do support torrenting no problem.
When I used it the client would have this issue of favoring specific regions even if I clicked a specific region. I would frequently get connected to the United Arab Eremites despite clicking the US server.
I don’t know if this is fixed or not, but something to look out for.
Never had a problem in terms of speeds.
I use the lifetime deal atm since like 6 months they are nice stable and fast I max my 100 mbit connection
Torrent is no issue
The software is great got even split tunneling
They just released an app for Fire TV too
Overall one of my top 5 vpn specially price wise.
Support is too fast via chat and email.
Sometimes a location is down I guess maintenance then they route you to somewhere else just go to
another location.
Other good VPN are Air vpn ( probably the best out there ) cyberghost , pia , Torguard.

Where did you read that actually ? i mean … even their blog gives Tips how to Install Kodi addons , shows the best torrent websites and stuff … never had issues with p2p on them
I mean here https://www.ivacy.com/blog/ they even show torrent sites for music and stuff.

In the previous post you saw which I gave an Ivacy affiliate link, I was also specifically trying to help someone who could have possibly used the service. I was also very transparent about my link and I also gave a direct link to Ivacy.com.
Don’t you think If I was currently trying to sell Ivacy that I would have called them more than just decent and okay?
I used to have the same issue with Ivacy Android app. But i think now it has been fixed because now it connects to the region that I select.
Agreed AFAIK you are not a VPN affiliate or a Reddit spam/throwaway account.
Reddit accounts that affiliate with VPN providers cannot be trusted to give unbiased opinions on VPNs. Granted your Reddit account isn’t nearly as bad as other Ivacy VPN shills that exist on Reddit but the fact is you’ve affiliated with them. (in fact Ivacy is not the only VPN provider you’ve affiliated with)
Same applies to those VPN “review” websites littered with affiliate links. Reddit accounts spam those too.
Ivacy = Mediocre = I’m a shill.
I fail to see how me saying a VPN in mediocre and flawed is shilling. I even stated I had repeated problems connecting to the server I wanted to connect to.
If I was truly a “spam account” or affiliate than I would have touted it as the best VPN hands down or at the very least put a link in my comment, which I did not.
Also I beleive the only time I’ve ever put a link to affiliates was in 1 post and I was VERY transparent about it. I’d hardly consider that to be a shill.
