Steyning School visit – the Ancient Greeks. – AncientBlogger
For several years I’ve volunteered at schools to help with their topics, until now it’s mainly been Romans. Recently I got the chance to change things up a bit and so I helped Year 5 at Steyning Primary School.
The topic was Ancient Greece and it was great fun to come up with some activities. We covered the City States, Greek alphabet, mythology, Greek games and even some ancient Greek music (the theme tune went down very well).
Hopefully next year I can return and perhaps help out with the Romans topic as well. Thanks again to the teachers and support staff who were amazing and really helped me.
