What's the fastest VPN?

I’ve noticed a lot of talk about VPN speeds and their impact on streaming.

So currently i get a download speed of about 320mbps while using wireguard protocol but without CyberGhost i get around 700mbps so I’m trying to figure out what it is thats cutting my speeds in half. Ive used open vpn and some other protocols but they haven’t really done much. I also have the setting enabled to go with the fastest server available.

I’m currently using CyberGhost, and I’m not at all satisfied with speeds. Even with the WireGuard protocol, everything seems so slow. I’m wondering, which service would you guys recommend?

There’s not one. There are way way too many variables for us to give you a suggestion on what would be the fastest VPN for you.

Apart from the actual physical location (and networking technology at that location) and distance of the server, you’ll want to look at the encryption and protocol. It’s almost always a trade-off between speed and security. The stronger the security, the longer the latency. The faster the speed, the weaker the security.

I keep about 95% of my speed with proton vpn, sometimes even higher speeds, but not much higher. I get 500Mbps download, and with proton I normally get about 450-500. Sometimes getting 515 for short bursts. I have been extremely happy with their speeds, although I have switched to r/piracy so speeds aren’t as important to me anymore for streaming.

I did a speed test with Mullvad yesterday and got over 2100 Mbps download, and about 1400 Mbps upload. Not bad, considering I’m only paying for a 2 Gbps connection. When using ExpressVPN, I couldn’t get more than 800 Mbps.

If speed is very important to you, you might want to check out NordVPN or ExpressVPN. Both are known for having fast speeds, especially since they use WireGuard (NordLynx for NordVPN).

VPN speeds can vary wildly. Some services are faster than others, and your location and server choice also play a role. Try NordVPN or Surfshark, they’re known for their speed and reliability, with average speeds around 400-500 Mbps.

For p2p speeds you need VPN which has support of UPnP.

If in case you need VPN I offer few VPNs for cheap price

  1. ExpressVPN- €2.50 for a month. Account is private, it means you can login into unlimited devices and can stay connected upto 8 devices at the same time

  2. Surfshark- €2.50 per month, or if you go for 1 year or 6 months, it will be even cheaper price

  3. Nord VPN- €2.50 per month or even cheaper when you go for 6 months, 1 year or 2 years.

FYI, ExpressVPN has fastest and stable servers.

VPN speed can vary based on factors like server location, load, and your internet connection. Try switching to a different server or VPN provider. ExpressVPN and NordVPN are often praised for their speed and reliability, with average speeds around 500-600 Mbps. If you’re still experiencing issues, consider contacting your VPN provider for support.

Express and Nord VPN are often praised for their speed and reliability, with average speeds around 500-750 Mbps.

The fastest VPN depends on various factors like your internet connection, server location, and the VPN provider’s infrastructure. Express VPN and Nord VPN are often praised for their speed and reliability, with average speeds around 500 to 600 mbps.

Every VPN including Nord VPN cuts Internet speed. I guess then we have to live with this drawback until they update their service

My biggest issue with Surfshark was that canceling the subscription required emailing customer support, and uninstalling the PC software didn’t fully remove everything.

I use NordVPN and the maximum downloading speed I have got was around 670mbs.

I have a 300 mbps connection at home. When using NordVPN on my iphone, it cuts away 20-30 percent of speed

I am really fast speeds in torrenting with my Nordvpn. Nord used a special protocol that helps maintain speeds. It is almost lag free and a has many servers. Its performance makes downloading and uploading really fast with no major slowdowns

All VPNs drop some speed. I use Proton VPNs free version on my iphone and i drops away half of my internet speed. My company has given me Nord VPN and its fastt. I cant check how much it drops speed in my office because its a shared connection but IMO its fast and drops very little speed and he best thingabout it is the kill switch.

I have been using Nord vpn for the past three years. On my 400 mbps connection it gives me speed around 330 mbps. It eats up at least 20 percent of my internet speed, which to me is okish. I would say, Nord is the fastest option out there

Your VPN speed might be slow. Try a different server or VPN company. NordVPN is usually fast. If its still slow, ask for help from your customer support.
