What is a VPN? (wrong answers only)

Who said that we can’t joke about cybersecurity from time to time? Especially about VPNs. So, let’s have a little fun and try explaining VPN in the most ridiculous ways possible.

Historically, not many are aware that the term VPN originates from ancient times, when Very Peculiar Ninjas carried private messages, cloaked themselves with smoke bombs, and used advanced evasive double-jump techniques to stay hidden.

Nowadays (for the most part), they have been replaced by Vacuum Powered Nomads, traveling on high-powered vacuum cleaners, leaving a clean trail to avoid predators.

It stands for Very Personal Network, meaning your closest circle of friends. I don’t understand why someone is asking for my VPN in the surfshark sub

Virtually pregnant nuns

Vaulted porn network.

As an IT admin we already know why your using a vpn…

IIRC a VPN is a Very Persistent Nanny that follows you around online, making sure you don’t spend too much time on cat videos and reminding you to finish your vegetables before you can watch any more funny dog memes.

That sounds like a really good premise to an animated series

Just trying to make a joke of the acronym

I think I need this nanny for myself

Yeah you should see in my comment that I get that.

Oh yeah, I must need another cup of coffee, I managed to miss your point entirely, haha
