It or it’s parent company are not owned by the Chinese (can’t be too safe knowing everything Chinese is used to spy),
Has split tunneling,
Has port forwarding,
No logs policy and good reviews.
All you can judge is what you can see or test: performance, reliability, support, features, leaks. You can’t know whether a VPN is logging, tracking, selling data, cooperating with law-enforcement, etc. Even a court case where they swear they have no logs just establishes behavior at one point in time.
So, don’t trust them. If you wish, give them fake/no ID data, pay anonymously, send them encrypted traffic (HTTPS), don’t use their custom client app.
All I really need is the tunneling to a different IP address, with lots of choices of servers. But some VPNs do ad-blocking too, which is nice.
