If there is a game in my area on ESPN (I have subscription) but the game is blacked out, how can I watch the game?

I am on my phone and tried a popular vpn app. The free version connects me to a VPN but I apparently cannot pick the location of the server without subscribing. Would love to know if this will work before paying for a subscription.

Really appreciate any help for my beginner question. Thank you!

Phone seems to be more difficult to successfully spoof than streaming boxes like Nvidia Shield etc. There is no foolproof advice, the best approach is trial and error. Sign up for free trials, see if it works, move on until it does.

Appreciate this a lot. Is there a sure fire way to spoof a TV or gaming console like Xbox?
