Sure enough, I can not remember verifying as much when I started Proton services. Now every third website wants it from the. The problem is that even when I press to verify it just refreshes the page and I am back to square one. Whenever I want to see a page I need to turn Proton off.
Sorry if this has already been a topic. Don´t have time for searching as I am in a bit of a rush right now.
It’s the VPN connection you’re using. As VPN connections get reported, website security will do this. Switch to a different one. Also, and this may sound controversial, I’m not connected to a VPN 24/7. Instead I use anti tracking DNS connections with my Wi-Fi network and phone if not on the Wi-Fi
The amusing thing about this is that bots are much better at passing the “prove you are human” tests than human beings.
Honestly all that tells me is that proton doesn’t cave and it’s working exactly the way it supposed to.
You’d get this with any VPN, but personally, it’s extremely rare for me to get this on the Plus servers.
It’s a thing. I only use it on my phone and half my apps I had to split to off VPN mode because of excessive verification or outright refusal to work. I didn’t have this issue with google’s VPN. I’ve kept the proton VPN within same country to try and avoid issues but it seems the data centre connections are blacklisted themselves.
I FOUND a solution to this after trying different things for weeks. It turned out one of my extensions was blocking the captcha because it is working fine on Firefox but not working on Chrome and Brave.
How did I solve this? I opened a tab for the extensions and I turned them off one after another till `i could locate the exact extension responsible. After that, I deactivated the said extension on both browsers and turned on all other extensions.
I have been fine since. Thank you to whoever suggested extension as the solution here.
It’s certainly a big nightmare lol
But its not just a VPN problem Guys?!, i do not have a VPN and im infinitely stuck on this page, and yes i did restart pc, yes i did refresh page 8 billion times???/ can we get more solutions here other than vpn?
So how would I do that? What’s ispr?
I’m not using any VPN’s and I’m getting this is taking forever. Their new type of verification is just pathetic.
