So im trying to use a vpn that I pay for through my router. No other connectivity issues, and it works well whenever I set it up. But usually the next day the VPN connection stops working, and when I go check the router’s web panel the device is removed so I have to manually add it back. And when I do, it works instantly.

A tp-link archer ax55. Just added the VPN connection to the router using a wire guard config file downloaded from the VPN provider’s site.
It works fine, but after some time it just seems to forget my phone from the VPN enabled devices list
