Update : managed to install an older version (at random) but can’t seem to accept T&C , and am stuck here.
Trying to install Norton VPN on my new fire stick 4K. Downloaded .apk file from apkpure using downloader. 3rd party apps is turned on. I get the following error “there was a problem parsing the package”.
Does someone know what’s going on? And what can I try to troubleshoot ?
the apk file you downloaded is developed for newer versions of android
The one I downloaded is dated Dec 6,22. I believe it’s 3.7.0.16317 . Would you you happen to know what version should I download? My fire tv stick is running FireOs 6.2.9.4
I get Norton free of cost through my employer so wanted to avoid paying 
got a bluetooth mouse? would let you accept the terms, since you installed an app developed for a phone, the fire remote won’t help you through the different graphics
Can you update your Firestick software? Mine is running 7.6.1.4
Did you come right with this? I can’t find an apk that will work
I managed to set it up using a bt mouse. How do I check for API level that matches my firestick? what specifically should I be looking at?
It’s the most updated version available 
maybe they roll our updates in batches.
I tried a bunch till one of them sort of worked. However, It ended up not working for my use case so I stopped using it. Sorry it wasn’t of much help
