Hi everyone, I’ve recently subscribed to a VPN to buy an annual YouTube premium family subscription and other annual streaming subscriptions. But YouTube is detecting that I am using a VPN and I was wondering if anyone knew a way around it? I’m doing this to save money and I don’t want my years worth of VPN to go to waste.
Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Once you buy the sub you don’t need to use the VPN. I bought a family plan in Ukraine a few weeks ago and haven’t turned my VPN back on since.
If you are using a commercial VPN provider then YT will always know you’re on the VPN. There are a number of security lists that track the IPs of all commercial VPN providers.
The ways around this would be to set up a personal VPN server on a cloud VPS, or even better have someone that can run a personal VPN server on a router in their house.
Try in Ghana Country, all the ukraine, turkey, argentina got blocked… Idk why they just raised the price for me in ARS…

I’ve been trying Argentina, Pakistan, Ukraine and India. But every time YouTube has recognised that I’m using a VPN and gives me Australian prices which is where I’m from. I’m just trying to figure out how to stop YouTube from recognising that I’m using a VPN
If you have someone in the target country that’s willing to run tailscale as an exit mode for you, then it’s nearly the same thing.
