I’m trying to establish a VPN connection from an AWS instance to our SonicWall TZ 300 (Firmware 6.5) using the built im AWS VPN feature on the SonicWall. The SonicWall can see the AWS instance and can connect but the VPN tunnels are not established. Can someone please help me resolve the issue?
you say ‘from an AWS instance’ - wouldn’t you normally use a VPN gateway with a site-to-site VPN connection on the AWS side, and connect your SonicWall (customer gateway) to that? VPN requires BGP, DPD, etc. to function.
Yea, Its much easier to just use tunnels with Sonicwall and AWS. I have multiple tunnels set up with our Sonicwall.
