ScreenOS disable VPN

hello, has someone an idea on how to disable VPN on Juniper screenos without deleting it completelty! Thanks

Last time I had to use screenos I got a hold of a dodgy copy of “ScreenOS cookbook” was able to answer most of my troubleshooting and bau commands.

I think set and unset are the commands but ? Is your friend.

Does ScreenOS still exist? I thought it was discontinued like a decade ago or more? Why would you run an unsupported and out-of-date firewall that was prominently featured as being compromised in the Snowden dumps…

Yes that’s what I found but mostly unset will delete completely the config! That’s not what we want

You might me surprised to know a lot of the bigger boxes are still supported untill end of this year. I think Covid made Juniper extend the eol a year or more.

hope this helps. The VPN should be bound to an interface.

Thanks, will try that command on the tunnel interface which is bound to the VPN
