Considering torrenting is strictly tracked in Germany and seeding is prohibited.
Also any tips about safe torrenting in Germany are appreciated.

If you have ever downloaded anything through the torrent system you have probably been surprised, as I was, to see the IP addresses of everyone currently connected to the torrent. Either a Proxy server or VPN will put somebody else’s IP address in that list.
As for the question of ‘how safe is torrenting’, you’re probably safe as long as your IP address is hidden. I have done a lot of downloading over the years and nobody has yet sued me and taken my home.
My vpn recommendation is VeePN. It doesn’t collect logs of your activity, including no logging of browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries.
