Given the recent internet outages and blockages of WhatsApp and other platforms, I wanted to know if anyone here using a Paid VPN and what they are paying for it (Monthly)?
Since nationwide firewall is being deployed, I believe its a perfect time to use an encrypted VPN connection to make your data/connection even more secure and prevent anyone from seeing your data.
Using Proton VPN, it has both free and paid servers, im paying 2k per month for the Plus subscription

Use encrypted dns change your windows reg keys to always use tls 1.2 and above. Concerning vpns and the firewall, I’m not sure if pta has capable enough personnel to actually make it possible. (That was the case when i was working in a tier 2 isp.) pta had some of the worst technical staff. You would had to walk them through to make changes in their own systems.
However, with the hardware isps and pta and these internet exchanges use. If they want they can monitor and block anything on runtime but to do it with minimal service disruption that is a huge hassle and a challenge. They are probably using an external vendor to manage this.
Lol it has always been recommended to encrypt, don’t make today an excuse lol.
Weird how the key board warriors are also just realizing this today.
