i have this laptop bought in 2019 where i used to play Minecraft when i was 12, after some time it couldn’t run anymore. now it can’t run anything, and i mean not even the settings. just fl studio, no idea how. i deleted some things to free up some space and now its showing this RAV protection saying i have malwares (been clicking on the X for 10 minutes and it still doesnt close the tab) also keep in my i used to download a lot of pirated plugins for fl studio and programs. what should i do? just put important things in a usb pen and reset it completely? that’s what makes the most sense to me
uninstall RAV … RAV gets installed together with the software you have recently installed.

Happend to my ignore it and uninstall anything like McAffee,RAV and stick with windows threat protection it is probably malware it self

12 years old kids install many stuff, from piracy places and also those programs that auto install other ones such as RAV. Just: Nuke that pc and reinstall windows from 0.

Disinstalla qualsiasi antivirus che hai sul pc tranne windows defender. Basta e avanza e non ti fa uscire pop up del cazzo che ti danno solo fastidio.
Intanto attiverei windows. Usando MAS puoi attivare gratuitamente anche la versione pro ad esempio.
Immagino tu abbia craccato fl studio, e probabilmente starai craccando anche plugins e vst. Fai attenzione ai siti che usi, consiglio di rimanere su sito quantomeno affidabili come getalink (precedentemente chiamato 4download) o audioz. USA SEMPRE ADBLOCKER, come Ublock Origin.

If you can, install adwcleaner and run it. Should take 2minutes and maybe fix the problem
Rav is definitely a malware that got installed alongside something you downloaded. Note that this pos will not completely delete itself with the uninstall function. Download an uninstaller program like hi bit uninstaller to completely remove it from your pc.
If you want malware protection, for me the combination of malwarebytes + adwcleaner always worked whenever i let my guard down and got something undesirable on my pc
Malwarebytes would kick out the threats in no time
