Im trying to setup nordvpn on my ER605 router, but i can’t make it work
In the openvpn part, i go to vpn client and type my email and password for nordvpn, then j get the OVPN file and import it, i type the the port and the remote server and this is not working
Do someone know what IP should i put in the “Local Network” field ?
Edit: i was able to setup the vpn on the router, but my computer is still not getting the IP from the region i selected
Are you using your account username and password or your account credentials?
From the instructions for another firewall
" Enter your NordVPN account credentials. Note, these are not the same as your NordVPN username and password. You can find your NordVPN service credentials (username and password) in the Nord Account dashboard. Copy the credentials using the “Copy” buttons on the right."
That might be it them, i will try to find these credentials, thanks
Here’s the full instructions, I know that this works for my firewalla. Not sure how much of this translates to your platform but there might be a hint or two here
It worked, the openvpn tunnel is up, but my work computer, that is connected to the router through the lan port 1, is still with the same IP, not the IP from the region i selected
