Currently using PairVPN. Love it. Here is my setup;
I have my iPhone hardwired to my pc via a usb-c to usb-a cable. I purchased Connectify hotspot. You can use the built in Windows mobile hotspot, but I prefer Connectify. More streamlined and makes the setup butter smooth. I have a usb-a to ethernet adapter I plug in and from there I plug into a router. I use the “wired router” mode and share the “pairvpn network adapter” and share it over the usb-a to ethernet adapter which is connected to the router which broadcasts out my pairvpn connection so other devices can access.
Everything works well. Wi-fi, Ethernet, etc. One small problem… PairVPN randomly disconnects my session, bringing the entire setup offline until I reconnect the Pairvpn session… Super annoying. Anyone having this issue or know how to troubleshoot? I have share location enabled on the app, so I don’t think it’s an iPhone app issue. I typically will just leave my iPhone alone completely when working with this setup, same for my pc. I have an application called caffiene I use to keep the pc awake and just keep it plugged in and don’t mess with it.
I noticed it’s pretty chill and stays connected if I only have 1 or 2 devices connected to the session. I get the issues when I try to play a game on my connected PS5 or play music on a wifi speaker for example. Any ideas?
