Requires Android 8.0 or higher
Nova has been rebased on the latest Launcher3 offering from the Android Open Source Project.
This means updated visuals and animations and just about every part of Nova’s code has changed.
Nearly all of Nova’s extensive customization has been brought along for the ride and updated to match, enjoy the new folder opening animation with any of Nova’s folder customziation options such as immersive windows or different icon layouts.
Some configuration options have been dropped such as the card background and horizontal app drawer styles. Feedback is welcome on this.
Though the focus is on refreshing the base and updating visuals there are various new features sprinkled in as well such as
- Radial folder icon layouts
- Vertical paginated folder scrolling
- Swipe Down action on icons (Prime)
- Search bar and Tab Bar in drawer can be placed at the bottom
- More Nova search window and bar options
- Save APK popup menu action
- More

I only want 2 things from Nova Launcher: Blur effects and gesture navigation compatibility AKA quickstep module compatibility

So since they rebased the whole thing I’m guessing they didn’t bother adding teslaunread support. Anybody can confirm? I’m gonna be sad…
Spent a few moments with it and instantly I can say it is super smooth and fast! Mine is not a super fast phone either! Noice!!

I know they don’t want us to ask this question,but everywhere on their faq and all they said they answered this at many places, except I can’t find any official statement or something. So ,why can’t they add the blur option, especially since lawnchair has it?
Sadly no support yet for Android 10 gesture, skip. Come on Google please just enable 3rd party now

I hope they could add quickswitch in the next release and also recalculate the animation speed.Even after using faster than light its not as fluid as oneplus launcher .
Well anyways its still one of the best launchers out there.

I’m about to try this on my ZTE Axon 10 Pro. I don’t expect that it will be fully compatible with Android 10s Gestures. If I could find one that is, I’ll be truly happy. 
Great news, seems like they eat i want it now but I still can’t take that “shadow” in the top, I hem opening the drawer. Where is the option to remove that shadow?!
Using amoled black settings and a completely black wallpaper.
Just for anyones info they removed App Drawer Folders. So its just as useless than any other pixel launcher.
Anyone have experience with gestures, specifically “last used app” gesture?
On pixel launcher it works fine, but if swipe to the right from the direct middle, I cannot get it to jump to the last used app.
The icon swipe down feature is a welcome addition.
