So I tried NoLag VPN, I seemed to get into low level lobbies. My ping would be around 30-40 but It didn’t feel like that at all. Lots of packet loss, freezing. The lobbies would still get difficult and in verdansk I was still getting 1.20+ average k/d lobbies.
I did this because I was curious how people like diazbiffle can consistently get into sub 1.00 k/d lobbies, have no lag issues and gave a low ping.
I am also trying it, it doesn’t seem to work. During the day it feels like it is, but of an evening its a sweat fest, which proves that it doesn’t work…
The best location for the us is singapore. My pr before noloagvpn was a 17 now its a 32.
Kd before nolagvpn 1.7 after nolagvpn 3.6. Everyone that says it doesnt work hasnt updated their configurations or isnt using a location that is currently online.

Have you tried playing all day starting from early? Plus someone really should check ALL of his matches and maybe… maybe it would turn out that “hey… 50% of his matches actually over 1kd”… maybe
There was a huge post about it like a year ago when a guy checked 10k or 100k matches and turned out… if you wanna play in easy lobbies you have to play wednesday morning.
If you wanna play in sweat lobbies you have to play friday or saturday evening. that simple
B) Sbmm breaks down once your kd gets out of the average deviation.
If you’re a 3+ kd there’s zero lobbies that are going to be difficult for you and no lobbies with a similar skill level so the game prioritises connection and chucks you in whatever ok lobby is available so you’re not waiting forever.
C) the tinfoil hat theory is that some of the most popular streamers are whitelisted by AV but there are a few plot holes in that one
Make sure your location actually changes under Settings->Account->Geographic Location otherwise it’s not doing anything. If that’s the case try a different location

And there was also that post about 2 months ago where a guy compared his lobbies to the lobbies of several top streamers and noticed that they got much harder lobbies than top streamers. link and link
So only the matchmaking server needs to connect to the vpn location, while all other connections run without vpn? The question is, how to determine which ip belongs to matchmaking?
