Anyone know why the week 5 player ratings haven’t been released yet? Every week this year EA has released the weekly player ratings updates before the Thursday night game.
It is now Friday morning and the week 5 ratings update hasn’t been released.
Does EA stop weekly updates at some point in the season? Madden 25 is my first Madden in years so I am not sure how it worked in previous years.
These are the ratings updates I am talking about:
They claimed at the beginning of the season that they were going to start updating player ratings and stats weekly again like they used to in previous maddens but they have already shit the bed and showed their laziness and incompetence. It lasted 3 weeks. Week 4 came around, no update, week 5 came around, then they updated to “Week 4” ratings. Now it’s week 6 and it’s still sitting at week 4 ratings. EA is a joke.
This is the only thread I can find about the player ratings not being updated. They always update every Thursday between 5-7pm EST.

They will release later today. They are doing something different I guess because I saw them promoting raising Jayden Daniels to a 80 based on the hotline call ins.
EA is based in Maitland, FL, which just got crushed by hurricane Milton. That’s why the ratings haven’t been updated

Still stuck on week 5. When they updated from week 4 to week 5, Buffalo somehow lost a 2nd round pick. Who knows what else is wrong
I’ve checked roster updates every Thursday for YEARS, I use to be #1 on PS online. This is the FIRST week they’ve missed in years. However their ratings don’t make much since most weeks. Week 1 cowboys mlber led team in tackles, had a sack and an int……should have boosted multiple pts……was downgraded. Diggs can lock his man up for 4 weeks in a row and allow 1 catch per game = downgraded 2 of the 4 weeks.

They’ve alway been very inconsistent. Must be a lot of updates from last week.

Hello all I have been working since week 1 of the NFL season on the 2025 class. I am happy to say it is finished and comes with 426 real players including accurate ratings and player likeness. I wanted to make each player feel different from the next in each position. My sources were NFL.Draft buzz and College football 25, I also used a tad of Reddit. In my opinion this is the best draft class out in madden and it also has realistic ratings with only 1 player being above an 80 ovr. Also includes UDFA’s, special teams and even some fullbacks. I hope everyone enjoys it I put a lot of effort into it and please give me feedback!!! PS if there is a player missing you think should be in they are most likely going to be in my 2026 draft class and that is why, if you don’t want to wait feel free to make any changes you’d like.

Ea headquarters is based out of California. The impact of Florida should have no merit. They have the staff to update the rosters…it isn’t a difficult task to do.
