I’m looking for a budget-friendly VPN that still offers good speeds for torrenting and streaming. Affordability is key, but I also want something reliable and secure.
My own personal opinion but never use a free VPN service. It’s best to use a paid VPN. Personally I’ve been using NordVPN for the past few years and have had no problem with them as yet. However I also use a Seedbox which helps out substantially. When downloading from my Seedbox it is encrypted so I have no fear there. Mainly use my VPN for masking my IP when I go to my private/public tracker sites. VPN is good for watching streaming sites from different countries. Wow, what a long winded answer.

Spin up your own WireGuard or openVpN instance on cheapest digital ocean or hetzner. Will cost you no more than $5/mo but truly private

How’s nords speed? I tried mullvad and my torrent was looking at being done in 3 days… I have fast speeds otherwise.
But what data does it sell about us to accept that we do not pay with coins but with data? I would really like to know what they could get from a TV box, for example.

The free version is good for most things but doesn’t work for torrenting unfortunately.
Definitely want something with port forwarding I would say though, so probably Proton, AirVPN or Windscribe.
Free and torrenting don’t go together, unfortunately.

Really? Didnt know they’d do that. Would they share user’s personal data with DMCA? I run few for torrenting, but no issues so far
