Sorry if this has been answered before, but do people keep losing connection to the game in franchise mode?
It seems to happen more as my zoo has grown. It just suddenly tells me it’s offline, I go out to the main menu and it reconnects and I can carry on.

It has been particularly bad today. Kept kicking me out. Must be a server issue.
Happened to me a month or so ago. Would disconnect about every 15 to 30 minutes, sometimes for a minute or two, sometimes for more like five minutes. It’ just resolved itself and haven’t had any issues for several weeks. Wish I knew what caused it but I changed nothing. It was on Frontiers side I suppose - certainly wasn’t my overpriced but good internet. Didn’t do anything personally. However wouldn’t bother going back to the main menu, should just fix itself and it also didnt have anything to do with Zoo size for me.
Sometimes it happens, i think its because a lot people put animals on market and they have family trees, stats(both genetics and their escapes, fights etc.) and servers can be overloaded and stop for a moment. You can kinda just press escape or something and continue but without habitat market
I’ve been having this problem constantly over the last few days as well. I thought it was on my end, but I can surf the web while the game is disconnected. So I think it might be on the server side. It usually resolves in a few minutes without needing to go back to the main menu.
This just started happening to me. Glad it isn’t just me (though also sorry others are experiencing it?)

Happens to me every single time I play multiple times a session. I live in the bush and have garbage internet.
Only really creates a problem when I’m trading animals. Rest of the time I just hit escape and get back to putting foliage everywhere.
Yeah mine does this a lot but only when I have animals listed on the market in franchise mode. Generally I just leave it 5 mins and it reconnects. But it’ll keep disconnecting me if I have too many animals listed (and it only happens when my zoo is larger)
I have that problem mostly during community challenges, about once an hour or so. It usually reconnects automatically after a few minutes. I just use it as a quick reminder to take a little break.
Mines doing it constantly I’ve only just got the game on PlayStation
One thing I’ve had trouble with is a VPN. When trying to play with the VPN on, franchise mode struggles to stay connected and will keep dropping. As soon as I turn off the VPN and restart the game, no problems at all.
This was happening to me and I seem to have fixed it / got a workaround by using NordVPN (I’m not sponsored by them)

Exactly the same for me. Fixed itself but now it won’t sync to the cloud. And I couldn’t save my zoo at all last night

It’s not too bad, just a little frustrating. I was more just trying to see if it was the game or my internet
