Just turn off auto renew and they should email you a discount to keep you.

I just emailed them asking for a discount. They have me 27 months for $85.

If it auto-renews you pay whatever the current full price is, you don’t get any promotions or discounts you’ve used in the past re-applied. If you want a better deal you need to manually extend your subscription BEFORE your subscription expires and manually apply whatever promo code or coupon you can find.

I just switched from nord to proton vpn. Better price and includes mail, 500gb drive, password manager and more.

I like it.

If they don’t discount the previous price go for ProtonVPN.

Check their site. I see $105 for the plus and $81 for basic. Also ask support say your existing customer looking to renew, make it worth my time

I stack discounts during sales (BF, etc.). Have paid up to late 2028, having had the account since 2014 or so, and have never paid full price. Keep your eyes peeled for discounts.

Appreciate the insight! Comparing plans right now. Of course, I click “cancel” for auto renewal, and they throw me a “free 18 months” on top of the one year I’d be spending full price on.

I just saw an article recently claiming Proton was the best VPN, in their opinion. Nord was in the top 5 though.

I’m waiting for my Nord to run out, then switching to Proton. I already have their email service. Seems cool.

You don’t even need to do that. If you sign in using your existing account, they’ll apply the discounts anyway.
