I’m using warp vpn 1.1.1.1 mainly to unblock twitter but it makes all other browsing really slow. When I removed alldefault excluded split tunnels from my settings it made everything way quicker and smoother browsing wise… Idk how exactly but is this any kind of security risk if I remove default exluded split tunnerls? they are something like ff03:: … 192.168.0.1 … 255.255.250. 0 … dont know much about this stuff https://imgur.com/a/QsTLTwK
Split tunnels can be a confusing thing to wrap your head around. I even struggled with it at first. Because you can royally mess up your Zero Trust infrastructure by setting it up wrong. Split tunnels by default are set to “exclude”, so that means that any traffic on your tunnel’s exclude list will not be passed across the tunnel and will go out the Internet directly. You _can_ set it to “Include”, but there are some ramifications with doing that that can further mess up things. And even Cloudflare does not recommend that unless you have a good use case for that. And _most_ of the time it’s usually only Enterprise clients who have a solid reason for that.
Don’t setup split tunnels directly on the warp client. It is kinda buggy. Actually set it up from the Dashboard.
Like risk against using wallets like metamask logging on Binance and other financial stuff… Also is there any way to just unblock Twitter and leave everything as it is? WARP only has exclude option for split tunnels no include option.
