Is IpVanish Security that good

Their price is good enough compared to top vpns and the 73% off they are currently running sounds awesome, but is the vpn really secure? Have you ever got caught while torrenting using this vpn?

I’ve used Ipvanish for some time but not after this : "No Logs" IPVanish Embroiled in Logging Scandal | Restore Privacy

The best 3 for torrenting and privacy are Windscribe, AirVPN and Mullvad. Any others are a crap shoot as far as privacy.

Haven’t used them since they got caught logging (under different ownership for what that’s worth) but never had a problem with torrenting, I left for the above reason an others.

thank you very much bro, lovely click the next webpage

IPVanish doesn’t allow you to turn off auto renewal…

I can’t believe this is what they need to do to get sales. I have been going back and forth with CS to cancel the auto renewal of the pieceOfships subscription they call VPN, and these people continue to ignore and ask for the last four card numbers on file while they block you from seeing whatever card they charged you.

They do everything to charge you and hope you don’t notice, AMEX chargeback is a clickAway.

Sneaky way to include an affiliate link there bud.

I would disagree. From what I know the best 3 are PIA, NordVpn and Expressvpn. They all have p2p servers and have a no log policy and aren’t that expensive

TorGuard, AirVPN, and then Windscribe in that order. Mullvad is good too.

I don’t know if this changed in a month or it depends on the plan, but I just turned off autorenewal for the annual plan pretty easily.

No log policies mean nothing unless they can be proven to do so in a crisis situation. The 3 I mentioned are the only ones that have a proven track record of not reporting logs to the Feds. Nord’s parent company is an actual data collection agency. I’d say your info is lacking.

I would say TorGuard, Windscribe, and then Express.

TorGuard - I get the fastest speeds and never had any issues with privacy. The VPN has only ever disconnected on me once in a span of 8 months.

Windscribe - I get identical speeds to TorGuard with the same privacy. The VPN does, however, disconnect much more than TorGuard (roughly 2-4 times a month).

Express - I get more fluctuations in speed but overall good with good privacy. The VPN does, however, disconnect about 1-3 times a week on IKEv2 and is very slow on OpenVPN.

The reason I excluded AirVPN:

AirVPN for me has always had very very slow P2P speeds and because of this I dislike the VPN, I never had issues with the VPN outside of P2P (and excluding streaming) but P2P was subpar in terms of speed. I would say on slower internet service providers the VPN would be great but on 1gig internet I get much more out of the three I listed.

From what I’ve heard ,unlike other vpns, people haven’t gotten their logs sold to the feds and emailed because of them. They seem like the industry standard vpns for torrenting

Express has slowed down for me, and is still too expensive, which is why I don’t recommend it as much.

Nord has a long track record of being bad about collections and reporting.

Hmm. The speeds are still fine for me but the price is high. It’s unjustifiably high with the disconnects and the fluctuations throughout the day compared to the other two I have listed.
